The Williams Firsts Pre-Orientation is a program designed to give incoming students and their families an early opportunity to become acclimated with Williams College. During the three-day pre-orientation program, invited incoming students will be welcomed by upper-level students and college staff focused on guiding our students’ transition to Williams. Students will connect with other incoming first-year students who have journeyed similar pathways to college, and together they will participate in community-building activities and informational workshops designed to help students thrive academically and personally at Williams. This program is by invitation and centers those students for whom coming to Williams is a significant “first.”
Williams Firsts Pre-Orientation begins a few days before Opening Day for first-year students. Invited students will receive details via email in mid-June. Please be sure to respond to this invitation so we can plan for your arrival. Once you confirm your attendance, we will share the Pre-Orientation schedule and lots of other information to get you ready to join us in August.
