Welcome Class of 2023!
First Days, the official first-year orientation to Williams, will begin on August 26. You will have access to your rooms at 8:00am. We cannot authorize your arrival prior to August 26. (International and First Gen students who have been invited to participate in pre-orientation programming will arrive on August 23).
But first things first. There is much to do before you arrive:
1. Look for an email from Dean Christopher Sewell in your personal email account- the one you used through the application process. There you’ll find a link to activate your network permission and Williams email account in order to use our PeopleSoft and GLOW systems.
2. Start with PeopleSoft, as that’s where you’ll be able to register for our EphVentures orientation programs, choose courses, and much, much more. Many of these forms do have deadlines, so checking in early is a good idea.
3. If you will be under the age of 18 on August 26 have your parent or guardian fill out the EphVentures Parental Consent Form.
5. Use the GLOW system to complete your Chemistry Placement Survey by June 17 (If enrolling in CHEM 151, 153, 155 in 2018 or the future) and your Quantitative Literacy and Reasoning Assessment (required of alI students) by August 2.
Information on how to sign up for a job on campus will be emailed to your new Williams address this summer. If you think you’ll want to work at Williams, read more about our employment procedures and regulations and make sure to pack original ID (i.e. passport, birth certificate, social security card, etc.) to use when filling out the Form 1-9.
Final High School Transcript Reminder
If you have not done so already, please make sure to have your final high school transcript sent to the Admission Office. Transcripts should be emailed directly to Kim Altiere at [email protected], and MUST be received by August 15, 2019.
